The Cincinnati Cyclones Special Hockey team is the first ice hockey team for people with developmental disabilities in the Greater Cincinnati Area. In fact, this will be the inaugural season for the team! Like many other special hockey programs, the Cincinnati Cyclones Special Hockey program will offer both learn to skate and learn to play hockey programs. The mission of the Cincinnati Cyclones Special Hockey program is to give people with developmental disabilities the chance to play the sport of ice hockey in an environment which is adapted to the level of ability. Cincinnati Cyclones Special Hockey is based on five key tenets: sportsmanship, teamwork, individual growth, respect, and equal opportunity. Also, having fun is not an option it’s a requirement!

Fall 2018 Season Pricing

The fees per team for all teams are $2,000 if paid in full by the start of the second game + $35 per game referee dues. ($2,200 + $35 per game referee dues if not paid in full by the second game).

July 2018 Draft Leagues

CAHL Draft Leagues utilize a draft process which is a process where players are placed on teams based on their skill and ability level as determined by the league manager ” The league manager will allocate certain players to teams based on a variety of factors to balance out the teams as much as possible.

MONDAY NIGHT DIVISION 5 – 4

Cost: $160 which includes 9 games (referee dues are included) and a jersey
  • Must be 16 years or older
  • You benefit from a set game schedule
  • There will only be one referee
  • It’s geared towards having fun and enjoying the sport of ice hockey
  • League starts Monday July 16, 2018 at 7:30pm & 8:45 pm
  • All games Monday nights at Sports Plus Canada Rink

  • Must be 16 years or older

The CAHL Learn to Play Hockey Camp is back with Dean Stork starting June 10, 2018. It will be a nine (9) week session held at Northland Ice Center every Sunday 8:30am – 10:00am for only $180.

 

Dean Stork 300Dean Stork is the current NCAA D1 Miami University Redhawks Assistant Coach  and past coach for the 2005 Greenville Swamp Rabits and Cincinnati Cyclones (2005-2015).

Note to regulars: This is the peak-season for icetime availability so we are limited to only two draft league tiers this season. We expect leagues to fill up very fast so do not hesitate to register immediately.
